Brisbane Methadone Clinic offers an assortment of the leading synthetic opioids used in pain management regimens or in addiction treatment plans. Specific synthetic opioid offerings include:

Methadone syrup :

A synthetic liquid opioid originally developed during World War II as a painkiller, methadone syrup continues to be one of the most commonly-used synthetic opioids to curb pain or addiction

Biodone syrup :

Another synthetic liquid opioid, or opioid analgesic, that provides a sugar-free option, Biodone syrup is a variation known as methadone hydrochloride. There are three different versions of the syrup with slightly different compounds: Biodone, Biodone Extra, and Biodone Extra Forte

Subutex tabs :

Subutex is a semi-synthetic opioid in dissolvable oral tablet form. Consisting primarily of buprenorphine, an opioid agonist-antagonist, it is used predominantly for remedying drug withdrawal symptoms.

Suboxone film :

Suboxone film is a semi-synthetic opioid which is in a dissolvable film that can be absorbed when placed under the tongue or on the inner cheek. Suboxone film is a blend of buprenorphine and naxolone, the latter of which helps to limit misuse.

Brisbane Methadone Clinic also offers a staged supply service arranged with you and/or your doctor.

When patients visit the clinic, they are administered a dosage of medicine and/or given takeaway doses as directed by the prescriber while under supervision of a pharmacist who monitors their treatment on a more regular basis. Methadone is addictive and can be misused, which is why it is a Schedule 8 Controlled medicine.  It can only be supplied by a registered health professional by prescription and its delivery, supply and patient administration is closely monitored by Government Health Authorities.
